At Doorstead, we've made renting a home as easy as 1-2-3! Here's how you can lease a home with us:

1. Find and Request a Showing

• Browse our listings on Zillow, Apartments.com, or another website
• Request a showing, once you do we will send you a form to verify some information 
• We'll confirm availability and schedule your visit!

2. Visit and Apply

• Tour the property (all tours are conducted with an in-person licensed realtor) some text
  • Issues with the tour? Call us at 415-275-6400
• After the showing, we'll automatically send you an application link
• Submit your application with the necessary details (credit score, income, etc.)some text

3. Get Approved and Move In

• We'll review your application within 48 business hours
• If approved, we'll set a contract start date and send you the lease for review.
• Sign the lease, pay the deposit and first month's rent. some text
  • We need to verify your payments before we finalize the lease.
• On move-in day, we'll email you key pickup information at 6am

It's that simple! Here are a few extra things to keep in mind:

• We require a showing before accepting applications (it's our policy!)
• Applications are typically processed on a first-come, first-served basis 
• If you don't qualify initially, you may provide a guarantor and try again
• None of your information is used for marketing purposes
